THE WEINBERG HOTEL | WINDHOEK
The Weinberg Hotel is located in Windhoek, Namibia, and is part of elegant architecture that forms part of the Am Weinberg Estate. This modern hotel features rooms and suites equipped with modern amenities such as air-conditioning, a safe, fridge, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. Guests also have access to two upmarket restaurants and a delicatessen within the broader estate precinct. Additional amenities that guests have access to include a bar, a sprawling garden, and meeting rooms.
DEAD VALLEY LODGE | SESRIEM
Dead Valley Lodge is situated next to the main entrance gate inside the Namib-Naukluft National Park, between the Sesriem campsite and Elim Dune on the way to the world famous Sossusvlei and the Dead Vlei. This oasis offers a panoramic view of the Namib Desert with towering red sand dunes, rugged mountain ranges, and arid desert savannahs.
Each of the 20 free-standing luxury tented chalets is climate controlled and equipped with double bed units, electric plugs, private patios, a kitchenette, and free-standing bathrooms stocked with toiletries. Guests can enjoy the top-class restaurant that serves delicious Namibian-style cuisine, relax in the picturesque bar with a cold drink after a day of activities, or cool off in the open-air swimming pool overlooking the Elim Dune.
The lodge’s eco-friendly design and architecture have truly been inspired by Sossusvlei and with its own entrance into the Namib-Naukluft National Park, making the Dead Valley Lodge one of the closest lodges to Sossusvlei pan. The lodge offers game drives in the morning and afternoon to Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon.
The official opening for guests will be on 1 July 2019.
STRAND HOTEL SWAKOPMUND | SWAKOPMUND
With its extensive, unique and creatively entertaining Restaurants, Bars, Deli, Lobby-Lounge, Sea Facing Terraces, Beach Kiosk and state of the art Conference & Banqueting Center, all set on the Mole, a historic and iconic site surrounded by Ocean on three sides, the Strand Hotel Swakopmund is a social epicenter and destination in itself for all visitors to and residents of Swakopmund.
Its architectural inspiration finds its roots deep in Namibian-German history and reflects this in a tasteful contemporary manner. The interiors are residential in nature, and the brief to all designers involved was to create a non-hotel, hotel. One as charming and welcoming as the town it is located in. Simply very warm and comfortable, and as they say in German: “gemütlich” providing a genuine “sense-of-place” atmosphere adding to any Namibian visit.
Arriving at the Strand is a dramatic experience as one passes through its 13m high and 9m wide Ocean View Atrium which travels right through the Hotel offering sea views at either end. Off this Atrium Lobby is Reception, consisting of three individual desks and an inviting open fireplace which rounds off the residential feel and warm welcome.
CAMP KIPWE | TWYFELFONTEIN
Camp Kipwe is an intimate and remote bush lodge located in Namibia's arid yet starkly beautiful Twyfelfontein region, home to many ancient Bushman etchings. The 9 specially-designed rooms are unique and private, with an outdoor bathroom, thatched roofs and spectacular views over the surrounding area. A luxury thatched suite with a lounge equipped with air-conditioning, a satellite television, a double room with en-suite bathroom, laundry service and a mini-bar.
Camp Kipwe offers guided nature walks around the Twyfelfontein Conservancy, as well as trips to see the Bushman etchings, the mysterious Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain. For a very special experience, an Elephant Nature Drive is a must-do; explore the terrain in search of these elusive desert-dwelling elephants who have adapted to the dry and sandy conditions of northern Namibia.
ETOSHA OBERLAND LODGE | ETOSHA SOUTH
The Etosha Oberland Lodge, 10km away from the southern gate of Etosha National Park opened in March 2020 and is nestled in a private nature park adjacent to the park. The lodge offers an inviting lobby with restaurant and a bar with adjoining lounge with fire pit. To enhance the experience, guests are invited to enjoy a viewing deck and swimming pool as well as free wifi in communal areas.
The accommodation comprises of 18 beautifully appointed premium chalets that offer comfortable amenities such as an en-suite bathroom, an outdoor shower, private sun terrace, which is equipped with comfortable chairs. Further facilities include air conditioning, a tea and coffee station with fridge, mosquito nets, a hairdryer and a safe.
MUSHARA OUTPOST | ETOSHA EAST
Based upon the elegance of an African Homestead, yet with a contemporary flavour, the Mushara Outpost offers a superb combination of splendid accommodation, exquisite cuisine and personal service. The spacious interior, tastefully decorated with hand-picked artifacts, is surrounded by a predominantly north-east facing verandah. This, in combination with the extruding high roof structure, offers a cool retreat from the heat of the African sun. Perched over a metre off the ground, and encased by the Tamboti trees that map the ancient dry river bed also known as omaramba, these 8 air-conditioned tent-like structures offer a secluded haven, the ideal retreat after the day's adventures.
Each unit offer all modern amenities, ranging from a mini- bar to the en-suite bathroom with a shower that can be unveiled to the vistas of Africa. The private wooden deck is the ideal setting to reflect, whilst you are entranced by the sound of nature.
